Anna Weszelovszky

I am Anna Weszelovszky, a professional fire and circus performer based in Hungary. I’ve spent the last 16 years on stage and in training spaces creating choreographies and studying several circus techniques. I am currently performing as a member of Flame Flowers (https://flameflowers.com/) but in the past decades I had several opportunities to collaborate with other, amazing artists, like Firebirds (https://firebirds.hu/) and Linda Farkas (https://www.facebook.com/magma.firetheater).

Besides performing, I am a nerd of object manipulation! I love to explore how different objects move in time and space while creating stunning patterns. My inherent goal is to dig deep into systems which help me to create new combinations. My favourite technique and area of expertise is fishtail and movements based on this, apparently small, but in reality quite complex movement. I hope I can share my love towards fishtails and geometric thinking with you.
